经证实，故事英语教学法是一种行之有效的英语教学方法。但是由于我国故事英语教学理论不完善，小学英语教育普及时间不长，因此，故事英语教学理论表现出凌乱，琐碎，不系统等特点。
此外，传统的故事英语教学法自身存在弊端，如注重的语言知识的传授、教学模式单一、教学过程机械化等。 在传统故事英语教学中，教师先教授故事中的句子和单词，然后再通过听故事，读故事，演故事等教学步骤进行英语教学，人为地将故事分为几个独立的片段进行教学，模式刻板，老套，忽视了学生的学习心理与情感体验，导致学生只是机械地学习故事中的句子，当情境稍有变化，或者变换另一种故事呈现方式，学生便不会运用所学语言进行交流。
笔者在文献研究的基础上，对国内外有关故事英语教学的期刊，论文，报告等文献进行整理分析，归纳总结，理清了故事英语教学法发展的脉络，针对传统故事英语教学法的弊病，笔者提出了故事主题英语教学法，探索故事英语教学法的新模式。故事主题英语教学法是故事英语教学法的发展与补充，它是通过创设故事情境，让学生自由发展故事情节，并在不断重复故事情节的过程中发展语言能力的一种教学法。
故事主题英语教学法受到情境教学法的启发，从任务型教学法的基本思路出发，通过学生对故事的理解，以角色扮演的形式，完成教学任务，达到教学目标。文中笔者将故事主题英语教学法与传统故事英语教学法、角色扮演教学法及语言情境教学法进行区分，指出故事主题英语教学法在小学英语教学中的优越性。
在分析了国内外相关故事英语教学的研究现状的基础上，探讨故事主题英语教学法的教学原则及实施的步骤与操作方法，并通过对重庆市江北区X小学六年级两个班的课堂故事主题小学英语教学实验及对教师的访谈，验证了笔者关于故事主题英语教学法教学高效性的假设。 经研究，笔者发现故事主题英语教学法能够最大限度地激发学生学习的主观能动性，提高学生学习热情与效率。

随着世界经济与全球化的发展，英语已经成为主要的世界通用语，被更多的非母语使用者使用。
在经历了从古英语、中世纪英语到现代英语的历史变迁后，英语这一语言已经与最初的起源有了很大的差异，并且形成了很多地方性的变体，其中一些变体已经被制度化和标准化，例如：新加坡英语，印度英语，尼日利亚英语等。 目前，关于英语作为世界语及英语变体的问题受到了广泛的关注，相关的研究也吸引了越来越多的语言研究者加入其中。
在英语变体的语音变化方面，教学研究主要集中在对于不同语音的特征进行分析来促进英语交流。许多研究是关于不同英语口语的相互理解性。
与此同时，研究者和教育者也建议英语语音教学的目标应从“母语标准”转移到“可理解性标准”。 关于“可理解性”的教学法研究，一些学者主张接触不同的英语口音，还有一些学者建议采用“世界语核”。
以上绝大多数研究是在西方国家进行的，在中国的类似研究还很少。中国大学的英语语音教学主要是局限在教室里。
尤其是对于非英语专业学生，英语交流主要是在同学及与老师之间进行。 在这种情况下，可能影响“可理解性”的语音问题就会在语音教学的过程中被忽略。
由于教师在教学中起着很重要的作用，教师对待不同英语口音的态度及他们的语音教学策略很值得研究。本文的主要研究目的是：调查大学非英语专业英语教师的对待不同英语口音的态度、语音教学目标和策略；反映目前大学非英语专业的语音教学现状并针对目前语音教学中存在的问题提出相关的建议。
本论文共六个部分，包括引言、文献综述、研究方法、结果与讨论，最后是全文的结语部分。调查结果显示：一、大多数教师认为英音或美音为英语的标准发音，其它英语口音为非标准发音。
二、关于语音教学目标，大多数教师认为语音教学目的是让学生掌握英音或美音，并且英语语音教学是为了促进与母语使用者进行交流。 三、教师的英语口音与教师期望学生学习的口音之间存在正相关性。
四、在教学策略上，多数教师更加侧重于消除学生语音中母语的影响，而不是注重训练学生的语言交流能力。根据调查结果，作者提出了对于语音教学的建议，并且指出本研究存在的不足以及今后的研究方向。
希望本文对英语语音教学有所贡献，并能够引起更多学者对英语作为世界语、英语口音及英语语音教学的关注与研究。

英语师范类毕业论文—黑色与black的区别 By looking at " 黑色与black ", it seems that there is no difference between them. They look like one another's translation in both Chinese and English. If we view these two words culturally, we will find that many cultural differences are between them. I'm trying to give an interesting discussion based on the cultural perspectives of these two words. In China， "黑色" is the colour of black which symbolises unfortunate and religious things. For example, it is not welcome in all kinds of festivals and happy events in China. As Chinese, we all know that "黑色" means bad luck and death. Hehe ^_^ Yeh, we don't mention and joke about such colour when we are celebrating happy events. Especially, in Spring Festival, such colour is extremely forbidden. On the other hand， "黑色" is often seen at funeral. People are often in black, to the point of respect. Additionally, this colour also indicates evil in Chinese culture. Some Chinese people use this colour to curse others which is never encouraged. All together， "黑色" is mainly associated to bad luck and death in China. However, black has many different meanings in western culture. Firstly, the black is pertaining to any of the various populations characterized by dark skin pigmentation, specifically the dark-skinned people of Africa, Oceania, and Australia. Not surprisingly, traditional wedding dresses often come with black (for the groom) and white (for the bride) in the West. Furthermore, black can represent danger, evil and death in the West. Interestingly, there are many English idioms connected with black. For example, black out (lose consciousness temporarily), black and white (print), black look (angry look), black humor (harshly ironic), black words (angry words), black Friday (unlucky day), in the black (prosperous), etc. Last and certainly not least， " 黑色与black " can present many differences which are distinguishable from different cultural perspectives!。

On Ambiguity Phenomenon in English Ambiguity is a very common phenomenon existing all the time in language. During the process of learning English, people often encounter the phenomenon of ambiguity, or encounter problems caused by ambiguity. Studying ambiguity and its causes in English can not only help people to avoid ambiguity so that people can have a more profound understanding on the English language itself, but also can make full use of ambiguity for people to service people, create unexpected effects. As a result, graspingthe ambiguity of the English languageand its causes can help people improve their English language abilities and interpersonal skills, at the same time, contribute to the development of linguistic theory. But what is this ambiguity? Ambiguity refers to the phenomenon of languages according to the grammatical rules and following the sentences with the logic of common sense containing two or more interpretations. To understand this definition, let us look at the following examples: Example 1:John drove to the bank. Example 2:They saw her duck. Both of the example 1 and example 2 are sentences with ambiguity. The former is caused byhomonymy phenomenon while the latter is caused by the different understandings in syntactic construction: For example 1, if “duck” was considered as indefinite form without “to” and this definite form is theobject of “her”. As a result, the meaning of the sentence changes into “They saw her move her head down quickly.” For example 2, if duck was considered into the direct object of “saw”, then the word “duck” changes into noun with the meaning of “They saw her duck”. Through the example 1and example 2, we can easily find that even though they are both ambiguous sentences, but the causes of the formation of ambiguity are in different ways. Example 1 is a vocabulary level of ambiguity (Lexical Ambiguities), while Example 2 is a syntactic level of ambiguity (Syntactic Ambiguities), and that the two levels of ambiguity is the main reason forambiguity.
